GingerOrganic menstrual cup M
Size M-recommended for women under 25 years of age and for those who have not given birth naturally.
The menstrual cup is a great alternative to tampons and pads.
The Cup is made of medical grade thermoplastic plastic. Made without silicone, latex, BPA and phthalates.
The first use of the menstrual cup can be a small challenge – its quick application and removal requires skill, but after a few attempts, using the Cup will become very easy and comfortable.
Before the first use, be sure to sterilize the cup – wash your hands, pour water into a small pot (enough to cover the cup), boil it, and then put the Cup in a pot of boiling water for 3-4 minutes. Once removed, the Cup is ready for use. To keep the cup clean, this process should be repeated after each completed period.
How to apply a menstrual cup?
Wash your hands thoroughly and take a comfortable position. Squeeze the Cup on both sides and bring the walls closer together, then form a folded Cup in The Shape of a U. hold the folded Cup in one hand, and with the other, tilt the labia, point the cup towards the tailbone or the base of the spine and apply it. The ideal arrangement of the Cup is when it is placed lower than the applied tampon. When you insert the cup, loosen it, it will open and fit. To make sure that the Cup has been applied correctly, grab its cap and rotate it 360 degrees. Correctly applied Cup easily performs a full rotation.
How to remove menstrual cup?
The Cup should be emptied at least once every 12 hours, but this also depends on the intensity of your menstrual bleeding. Before removing the menstrual cup, wash your hands thoroughly and take a comfortable position, then use your index finger and thumb to grasp the stem or bottom of the cup. It will be easier if you use your abdominal muscles or pelvis to push the cup down. Gently pull the stem of the cup until you can grasp the bottom. When you pull out the entire Cup, hold it upright and then empty by pouring the contents into the toilet. The Cup should be washed with clean, preferably warm, water (remembering to thoroughly wash the vents) and it is ready for reuse. If you do not have access to running water when emptying the cup, you can even use wipes or toilet paper to clean the cup.
Keep in mind that the Cup should be emptied every 12 hours or more – depending on your needs.
You can also use the menstrual cup at night, as well as during sports.
